MEET YOUR GUIDE

Andrea Bailey

I See the Women Who Carry Everything

I know what it’s like to be the one everyone relies on.
To be the capable, competent woman who gets things done — at work, at home, in every corner of life.

To feel your body braced for the next thing, even when everything is quiet.

I work with women like you: high-achieving, responsible, and deeply committed. Women who know how to endure, and wonder how long they can keep doing it without losing themselves.

How I Work

I don’t believe in quick fixes, motivation, or empty inspiration.

I guide women in learning how to regulate their nervous systems, reclaim their energy, and integrate their life experiences into a body and mind that feel steady, capable, and resilient.

We work in motion and reflection.
We listen to your nervous system as closely as we listen to your words.
We move forward together — literally and figuratively — in a process that is structured, grounded, and intentional.

EXPERIENCE ROOTED IN PRACTICE

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Mindfulness-Based Ecotherapist, and Reiki Master.

I’ve challenged myself in endurance events, obstacle courses, and extreme physical experiences. I know what it’s like to test limits, feel discomfort, and push through and I also know when to stop, recalibrate, and honor the body’s signals.

All of this informs my work: understanding when to challenge, when to contain, and how to guide someone toward deeper regulation and resilience.

The Missing Piece:
The Body

What I’ve learned, both professionally and personally, is this:

The body remembers what the mind learns to ignore.

Chronic stress, resentment, grief, and responsibility don’t just disappear because we’re capable. They settle into the nervous system, posture, breath, and muscles.

That’s why:

  • You feel wired but exhausted

  • Rest feels unproductive instead of restorative

  • Your patience is shorter than it used to be

  • You don’t recognize yourself anymore

This isn’t a motivation problem.

It’s a nervous system that has been carrying too much for too long.

What Is TheraRuck™ (For Women)?

TheraRuck™ is a trauma-informed, movement-based approach to mental health that combines:

  • Outdoor walking under gentle, intentional load

  • Nervous system regulation

  • Mindfulness and somatic awareness

  • Nature immersion

  • Psychotherapeutic guidance

And this isn’t about pushing harder.

It’s about meeting yourself where you are and rebuilding trust with your body through movement that feels purposeful, grounding, and empowering.

We walk side by side.
We breathe.
We notice.
We release.

The weight you carry isn’t symbolic, it’s intentional. It helps your body feel supported, anchored, and present. Over time, something shifts:

You feel stronger, not just physically, but internally.
More steady.
More like yourself again.

Strength Without Self-Abandonment

I don’t believe healing should feel like another obligation. I believe it should feel like coming home to yourself.

Healing does not require you to be softer. It requires you to feel safe.

My approach integrates:

  • Evidence-based psychotherapy

  • Somatic and nervous system regulation

  • Mindfulness-Based Ecotherapy

  • Functional movement principles

  • Energy awareness

  • Nature immersion

This is strength with structure. Intensity with safety. Resilience with restoration.

If You’re Here

You probably describe yourself as "responsible for everything.”

TheraRuck™ isn’t about fixing you.

It’s about giving your nervous system the conditions it needs to exhale, so you can keep leading, serving, and living without running on depletion.

If you’re ready for a different kind of support. One that meets your capacity instead of diminishing it. The next step is to apply.

We’ll walk from there.
